Website CMS Editor Help (FAQ)
|
| |
| Can I copy directly from Microsoft Word? |
The formatting code in Microsoft Word is not compatible with the HTML code used in
formatting content for websites. Directly copying information from Microsoft Word can
cause the Website CMS editor to distort the appearance of the information.
Very important: Always copy text from Microsoft Word into Notepad, then fix up the
text’s appearance if required and then copy it into the Website CMS Editor.
Alternatively you can use the paste from Word button ( ) on the tool bar and clean up
the copied Word text. |
|
| How do I create a link to another website? |
| SEE: Links and E-mails in the How to Guides section of this document. |
| How do I make the text wrap around my pictures? |
When you place an image into the Website CMS Editor, it will by default sit on one line of
text and look like the example below:
To make the picture blend in with the text, you can choose to align it either left or right
so that the text will wrap around it and fill the blank space.
To do this, bring up the Image Properties box by right clicking the picture and selecting
“Image Properties”. You will get the below popup box where you can choose your align
option, and then press OK.
If done successfully it will look like the below. You can then click on the image and drag it
up or down the page to a position you like.
